Just got home from grabbing dinner with Chris. It was a long day today, back to the normal grind after the holiday weekend. After running a few errands this morning he and I spent most of the day preparing the next batch of songs for Playground.
I’ll most likely be back in Utah in a couple weeks with the team recording a few more songs to add to the program before launch. We’re almost ready to launch! Aside from working on some new material, we did manage to catch some of the NBA Finals game 1 as well. The Heat definitely gave a strong statement in tonight’s win over the Mavs.
I hope that this turns out to be a good series. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Chris and I will also be meeting up tomorrow to work on some more Playground stuff before he flies back to New York. We’re all working very hard on this project and we look forward to when it will be available for everyone to get their hands on. I hope that everyone had a good time this weekend and more importantly I hope that everyone was safe. I had a really good time. I had a dinner with some friends, I also went and saw Hangover II (which I thought was pretty wack), and I also spent some time at The Grove in LA where I ended up walking past Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun. It took me a minute before I recognized him. I saw him and then thought, “I know this guy, but where do I know him from…………….. Oh yeah!
That’s Justin Bieber’s manager!” I thought it was pretty funny when it happened. But yeah, it was a good weekend. Wasn’t as relaxing as I would have liked since I did a lot, but I guess that’s what next weekend will be for.
Well alright, time to wrap this up and call it a night. Until next time.
